A lot of people ask me how I can be bothered with going to the gym as often as I do. Apart from that working out is a big hobby of mine, it's hopefully what my job in the future will be all about. But I also think that it's what my body deserve. It's always hard to get in to the routine of going to the gym and exercising, I thought it was a struggle in the beginning. But as I know how hard it is to get back in to it again, I promised myself not to ever stop.
For me it's not all about the way I look, it's how I feel; physically and mentally. Just from taking a 30 minute walk outside or to go full out in the gym for an hour, it just makes me feel so much happier and better about things after I've got my body moving a bit. Also: Any exercise is better than no exercise.
I remember when I was around 17-18 years old, and had a bad day. I came home after school and had a big talk with my mum about how crap everything was in school, and how I disliked this and that. And after my little rant, mum most of the times just said:
- Just go to the gym, okay? Just for a little bit, and get that frustration out.
Working out helps you de stress, it gets those happy endorphins to move in your body, and it makes you feel good about yourself. And as well, your body deserves it. You deserve to feel good.
